Ultimately we want to grow the biodynamic market for U.S. farmers.
Right now, biodynamic farmers are a diverse lot. Not all are certified. Many have been growing fruits and vegetables using biodynamic principles, happy in the knowledge that they and their community of food lovers know how and why they farm the way they do.
But before we can encourage more to farm biodynamically, first we have to grow the market. We’re not alone in this adventure. There is a growing number of companies that are selling biodynamic products.
Specifically for us, growing the market means increasing our distribution. But to increase distribution, we need more raw ingredients.
So that’s why we go to Europe, the birthplace of biodynamics.
We've travelled around Europe, looking for products that are biodynamically-grown and certified by Demeter. We've identified a few that we think you'll love.
If you want to know what they are and when they are ready for sale, sign up for our blog digest, and you’ll be one of the first to know.
Rest assured, our eye is still on growing the market for American farmers, so we can go from about 20,000 biodynamic acres to one million.
